Imagining Mama
In Imagining Mama, a tender and beautifully illustrated story, we meet Zoe, a bright and curious little Black girl with a big imagination and an even bigger heart. While her mama is often too busy or too far away to spend much time with her, Zoe dreams up magical adventures where they are together—dancing in the stars, baking sunshine pies, and whispering secrets to the moon. Through Zoe’s imagination, readers are gently guided through themes of longing, love, and hope. This story celebrates the strength of a child’s spirit and the comfort found in dreaming, even when life doesn’t go as planned.
